1996-97

The Biocoil Project '97 -A continuation of The Sewage Sisters' work and research. Students are testing a new Biocoil design specifically for cold-climate waste water treatment.

The Biomanual - The trip from the algae's point of view.

1995-96

The Biocoil Project '96 -The highly esteemed Sewage Sisters' second year working on the Biocoil project.

Hypolimnetic Injection -The award-winning fish/reservoir saving plan to inject cold, oxygen-rich water into the depths of Cascade Reservoir.

1994-95

The Biocoil Project '95 -This is the year that started it all for Cascade's famous Sewage Sisters and their favorite pet, the Biocoil.

A Unique Approach to Reservoir Restoration -An interesting project suggesting the use of a chemical to render the thick beds of phosphorus-rich soil under Cascade Reservoir insoluble.

Hypolimnetic Injection -The first year for the DEQ-cooperative project to inject cold, oxygen-rich water into Cascade Reservoir.

1993-94

Implementing Best Management Practices for Grazing -A project centering around the problems of grazing cattle and flood irrigation practices near Cascade Reservoir.

Reinstatement of Bats as Pest Control -Tired of those pesky mosquitos? Learn how bats can control this problem much more effectively than harmful chemicals.

Wild Rice and Trash Fish Proposal -A project proposing reduction of nutrients from reservoir tributaries by introducing wild rice as a biological filter and trapping nutrient-rich trash fish.

1992-93

Construction of Wetlands -A proposal for the construction of several small wetlands to filter non-point nutrient loading from Cascade's watershed.

Construction of a Large Wetland -A project proposing the construction of a large wetland on a major tributary to reduce the inflow of nutrients into Cascade Reservoir using an existing railroad grade.

Implementing Water Circulation Devices -A project proposing the installation of propellers to break up thermostratification of Cascade Reservoir.
