Introduction
The Crown Point Trail group has accomplished projects that were
started in the fall of 2005. Around 300 plants were statically
planted to help erosion, phosphorus going into the lake and causing
algae growth and to rehabilitate native plants into the area.
Multiple bat boxes and swallow habitats
were built to control the mo0squito population. We placed a data
collector known as a H.O.B.O. it is used to monitor the bats and
to see if bats are living in the bat boxes; the H.O.B.O. will also
collect the temperature inside the bat box. The bridge out in Fisher
pond is being rebuilt and for the area duck boxes are being built
to place out in the pond.
